TECOM and Al Wasl Hospital Hold First Blood Donation Drive for 2007
TECOM Investments and Al Wasl Hospital
recently organized the first blood donation
drive for 2007 at two locations in the Free
Zone in support of Thalassaemia patients.
The drive organized in the premises of
Dubai Internet City and Dubai Knowledge
Village attracted a record turnout of
donors. Though a total of 267 people went
in for the preliminary screening only 210
were deemed fit to actually donate blood.
About 50 potential donors could not be
accommodated due to the high turnout
and the time constraints.
