DIC Highlights Commitment to the Environment
August 2011

In an effort to enhance its responsibility to the environment, DIC urged employees and business partners to contribute towards conserving the environment by disposing waste in the most effective manner.

With support from IDAMA, a facility management company, different boxes were placed in the service lift lobby of each DIC building. Blue boxes were specifically assigned for paper, green for plastic and red for cans.

DIC management attaches considerable importance to this initiative due to thefact that about 60% of waste generated can be recycled and even one plastic bottle kept out of the landfill spares the environment from years of damage.

The initiative has been well received by the key stakeholders and highlights the commitment of the community in giving back to nature.
